How do I make sure an item is what I want?

Sellmystuff allows you to communicate directly with the seller. This enables you to contact the seller to discuss the item in greater detail than you can by email. You can even sight the item if the seller lives close to you. After you have decided the item is what you want, you can then negotiate a price directly with the seller.

How do I contact the Seller?

As all communication is directly between the seller and the buyer, the seller will list his or her preferred methods of communication with the item. Simply use one of these methods to contact the seller and discuss the item.

What is the best way to get the item once I have agreed to purchase it?

Ideally, if the seller lives close to you, you will be able to pick it up directly from the seller once the purchase price has been agreed upon. If this is not the case, we suggest and recommend using Australia Post. They offer a COD service that guarantees that the items will arrive, and the seller will be paid. How do I find only items for sale close to me?

You can perform a quick search by entering your suburb and/or postcode. Items closest to you will be at the top of the list.
